The application for early childhood education is done electronically and via the links below you can also make changes to the care needs.
In exceptional cases when it is not possible to fill in the form electronically, contact our department for ECEC to make an appointment. Phone 044 7851501 or 044 7851 594.
Attention! If adults have shared custody, the application must be completed by the guardian who lives with the child according to the population register. You can only apply for a place in the child’s home municipality if the guardian lives in the same municipality.
Applications sent with incorrect criteria may be rejected.
APPLICATION FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE
( Day care, complementary early education or morning-/ afternoon activities for school children)
The general application period for the semester 2024 is 1-31.3.2024. In order to facilitate the planning of the activities for the autumn semester, we prefer that all applications for the autumn are submitted during this period. This applies to
– new children
– children who were born in 2021 and will move to the bigger kids-sektion from the autumn (born January-October 2021)
– children who wish to change kindergarten
It is possible to apply for early childhood education any time of the year according to need, but the planning of daycare placements for the autumn will start after the application period has ended. Please note that an INCREASE in care hours is possible at any time, but a REDUCTION in care hours requires that the current agreement has been in force for 3 months.
APPROVAL OF THE PROVIDED CARE PLACE OF EARLY EDUCATION
When you have received a decision from us about the granted place in early childhood education, we ask you to approve it through the link below ( does not concern children in preschool or older ). The same link is on the decision sent to you and you can alternatively approve or deny the place granted to you via that link as well.
