Opening Hours
Step in to the Malm House, our town museum,
at Storgatan 2, Jakobstad. The museum is open
Tuesday to Sunday 12–4 pm.
The museum office at Storgatan 4 is open weekdays 9 am–3 pm.
The museum also has an exhibition centre Tempus. Opens in Spring 2023.
The museum (the Malm House) is closed
1.1, 6.1, 15.4–31.5, 24–27.6, 5–7.11, 6.12, 24–26.12
and 31.12.2022.
Tickets
Entrance to the museum is 5 euros for adults,
for children the entrance is free.
The museum card is valid at Jakobstad Museum.
Visits are possible during the museum’s opening hours. The card also applies to the exhibition hall in the Tobacco Warehouse. The museum card is a common entrance ticket to Finnish museums. The card is valid for one year from the date the card was first used. With the personal Museum Card you have access to over 300 museums in different parts of Finland.

Guided Tours
Book a guided tour in Finnish, Swedish or English for our exhibitions in The Malm house or the temporary exhibitions in the Tobacco Warehouse.

Groups from the city’s schools have free admission to the museum’s exhibitions. For others the guiding fee is 30 €/group weekdays 8 am to 4 pm, and after 4 pm the guiding fee is 50 €/group.
