The CEO of Visit Pietarsaari – Jakobstad Oy Ab has been chosen

Matilda Engström has been appointed the new, and first, CEO of Visit Pietarsaari – Jakobstad. Before the role as CEO of Visit Pietarsaari – Jakobstad, Engström has had diverse jobs within tourism and marketing on Wasaline, Tallink, and Stadshotellet in Jakobstad. Engström is currently working as Head of Early Childhood Education and Care at the town of Jakobstad. Engström will be starting in her new position on 1 January 2024.

I am happy about my new role in the leadership of Visit Pietarsaari – Jakobstad. The tourism in the Jakobstad region is experiencing a boost, here we have a wonderful nature, excellent service, fascinating history, hospitable people, and courageous entrepreneurs.
