Etelänummi School has brought new life to the Strengberg area, along with changes to traffic arrangements. Safety in the area has been improved by lowering speed limits and installing speed bumps, among other measures.

The drop-off and pick-up point for school transport is located at the bus stop area on Alholminkatu, near the stage in School Park. In addition, a few short-term parking spaces (maximum 10 minutes) have been reserved along Koulukatu for parents dropping off or picking up students.

During breaks, Etelänummi School students can take part in supervised activities in School Park. The school coach, together with other staff members, organizes games, play and other activities for approximately 20 to 25 students at a time. There are also opportunities for independent activities in the Strengberg courtyard, such as board games. Break-time activities are continuously developed based on students’ wishes and feedback.
