The City Board has decided on the allocation of grants from the 350th Anniversary Fund. A total of 3 468 € will be awarded to Pietarsaaren Näyttämö and FC United.

The anniversary fund was established in 2002 to support private individuals and associations that contribute to the development of Jakobstad. Since 2024, the application process has been arranged every other year in order to increase the amounts distributed. This year, the fund received 18 applications.

In recent years, grants from the fund have been awarded to the following recipients: Parasta lapsille Association, Kom In Association, Old Harbour of Jakobstad, Jakobstadsnejdens Guider, and IF Drott’s 100th anniversary celebrations.
