The Town of Jakobstad will raise the Pride flag at Town Hall on Friday, 21 August. The flag-raising is part of the town’s work to promote equality, inclusion and well-being. By flying the Pride flag, the town demonstrates its support for diversity and highlights everyone’s right to be treated with respect.

The Jeppis Pride event will take place at Art Café Villa Sveden on Friday, 21 August, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The aim of the event is to promote equality, inclusion and community spirit, while supporting the rights and well-being of sexual and gender minorities.

The programme includes a family picnic, live music performances, an Open Mic session and an art exhibition. The summer café will be open throughout the event, and admission is free.
