The fantastic Jacob’s Days week reaches its grand finale with a diverse weekend program and concludes on Sunday, 26 July. Before then, there is still plenty of music, culture, exercise, and other memorable experiences to enjoy.

Friday’s highlights include an open house at the Musikcentralen, where visitors can explore the exhibition Where the Music Began. At Rosenlund, a Waffle Friday event will be held with live music providing a pleasant and atmospheric backdrop. In Skolparken, visitors can take part in outdoor fitness sessions as well as hip-hop and house dance workshops. At Nanoq, visitors can experience the authentic atmosphere of a traditional smoke sauna. The Friday evening program is crowned by several live music performances and a market square party.

On Saturday, the market square comes alive with the traditional Old-Fashioned Market, and the Jacob’s Days Parade makes its way through the city. A competitive spirit is guaranteed with events such as the final of Miss Model Jakobstad & Best Models 2026 and the dance competition Jeppis Jam Allstyle Battle. At Project Liv Arena, the football matches FC United vs RoPS and JBK vs VPS Akatemia will be played. Saturday evening also features live music, entertaining audiences well into the night.

On Sunday, Jacob’s Days will conclude with a veteran moped competition and a community sing-along concert at the FBK field.
