Construction work is currently underway on Svedenvägen (Kytömäentie), where a new bus stop is being built along the road. The stop will be located on the left-hand side of the road when viewed from the town centre, near the intersection of Svedenvägen (Kytömäentie) and Östanlidvägen (Itäkunnaantie).

Once the bus stop has been completed, work will continue with maintenance and improvement works on the opposite side of the road. The construction project is expected to be fully completed by early August 2026 at the latest.

In the future, the new bus stop will be served by public transport, including the Fäboda bus. The Fäboda bus will continue to operate as usual from the bus stop at Östanlidvägen 3 (Itäkunnaantie 3) for the remainder of the summer of 2026.
