The purpose of the fund is to promote and encourage activities that contribute to the development of Jakobstad in line with the motto “a good town, an even better one.” To this end, the fund may award grants and project funding to individuals or organizations working to achieve this goal.

Applications, which may be freely formatted, should be submitted electronically to the Town Board at: registraturen@jakobstad.fi

The application period ends on June 30, 2026. Grants and project funding may also be awarded to individuals or organizations that have not submitted an application.
