Youth Services: Summer Fun Club 1 & 2

The Youth Services organize Summer Fun Club, which offers grilling, crafts, games, an ice cream buffet, and lots of other fun activities! The club is intended for students in grades 3–6, and a snack is included.

Club 1 takes place June 1–5 from 12:00 to 14:30, and Club 2 takes place June 8–12 from 12:00 to 14:30. The camp is held at the Tupakkamakasiini youth center. (Jaakonkatu 9)

The participation fee is €40, and there is space for 15 participants. Registration by May 13, 2026, by phone at +358 44 785 1951.

Wava Institute: URBAN ART Summer Course

Wava Institute offers six URBAN ART summer courses with themes in visual arts (ages 7–12), dance and theatre (ages 7–11), or music (ages 9–14). The courses take place June 1–5 and June 8–12 from 9:00 to 12:00 at Campus Allegro. (Runeberginkatu 8)

The course ends with a closing event at the market square on June 12 from 16:00 to 18:00 (exhibition & performances). Registration is open from April 27 to May 16 via the Wava Institute website in the Eepos system.

The participation fee is €45 per course. The course will be taught in Finnish and Swedish.

Sports Services: Summer Camp

The Sports Services organize two summer camps for children aged 8–12: the first from June 1–5 and the second from June 8–12, from 12:00 to 15:00. During the camp, children can participate in various indoor and outdoor activities.

Registration is open on the city’s website via this link. The participation fee is €40 per child per week.
Sibling discount: €60 for two children per week.
