The Fäboda project presents: FÄBODA WINTER DAY 7.2.2026, 10.00–13.00

Location: Fäboda, Kaffestugan + the accessible trail/beach

We also arrange bus transport with two departures from Jakobstad/Pietarsaari town square and return trips from Fäboda:

Note! The event takes place outdoors. Please be mindful of the weather and surroundings, as surfaces may be slippery or uneven. Dress appropriately and move carefully. Participants are not covered by any insurance through the project.

Programme:

• The history of Fäboda at Kaffestugan with Carola Sundqvist, Jakobstad Museum
  – In Swedish at 10.15
  – In Finnish at 11.30
• Ice safety on the beach 10:30–12:00 with NatVenture

Activities:

• Walk along the Right of Public Access Trail (with the Inclusive Workplace project)
• Fire-making with a fire steel on the beach
• Crafts using natural and recycled materials (with the intergenerational community Generationsöverskridande Gemenskap project)
• Try relaxing in a hammock

Enjoy the winter in Fäboda – bring a sled if the weather allows!
