Come and visit the Shipyard
Welcome to explore our shipbuilding and maritime history.
At the Shipyard you can get familiar with the replica of Jacobstads Wapen, a galeas that was launched in 1992. The original galeas was launched in 1767 and was built according to af Chapman’s design.
At the Shipyard you can also admire the war indemnity schooner Vega, which is one of the two remaining 91 schooners that were built as a part of the war reparation claim to the Soviet Union.
Shipyard is open 5.6.-28.7. Mon-Fri 11.00-16.00. Other times on prior agreement. Admission: 7 €/adult, 5 €/13-17 years
